Hey hi hello,

I don’t really know how to say this, but you’ve probably noticed some silence and changes happening around here. So, let’s talk about it.

Faiya started as a passion project in the beginning of a mess of a pandemic—one that grew from my home kitchen to a commissary and eventually into my own commercial space. Along the way, I met Pickle Monster, another Philly-based hot sauce brand, and we started sharing a kitchen. At first, we were just two companies working side by side. But over time, we found ourselves helping each other out—jumping into production together, problem-solving, and pushing each other forward.

Then came the winter of Christmas Village. Locked inside an 8’x8’ wooden box, exposed to the cruel, unforgiving cold, we had nothing but time, hot sauce, and let's be honest; a bit of booze too. There we started to cook up some ideas.

Fast forward a bit, and after being approached by Weaksauce Philly to produce their sauce, it all clicked—we had already been building something much bigger than just Faiya or Pickle Monster. And so, HotBox Philly was born.

Now, HotBox Philly is a full-blown manufacturing powerhouse, producing Faiya, Pickle Monster, Weaksauce Philly, and a growing list of incredible brands. We’re working with so many passionate restaurants and hot sauce brands who love food as much as we do, and it’s been an amazing ride.

So, what does this mean for Faiya?

It’s not going away—it’s just taking a break. You’ll still be able to find the same bold flavors you love, but under a new home. A new face. A new chapter.

More details soon, but for now, just know that Faiya’s fire still burns. Thank you for being part of this journey from the start—I can’t wait to show you what’s next. Remember this isn't goodbye, just a new start.
